In 2005, Seagull Software acquired the mainframe integration company SofTouch Systems and CrossPlex became part of the LegaSuite Integration module for mainframe, 3270, CICS, and 3270 integration using Web services.

LegaSuite Integration offers an Eclipse-based workbench to expose mainframe and CICS applications and data to technologies such as Web services, XML, .NET, WebSphere MQ in order to be integrated with and consumed by Web and desktop clients, as well as other business applications. Mainframe and CICS Integration Deployment Options

The LegaSuite CICS Integration Engine runs natively on the mainframe in CICS and invokes CICS application microflows via COMMAREA (DPL), 3270 Bridge/FEPI or VSAM.

The LegaSuite CICS Engine can also be used with the LegaSuite Distributed Engine to offload SOAP, XML and HTTP processing to more cost-effective platforms while keeping the performance power of microflow processing on the mainframe.

LegaSuite is the only solution that is portable across all deployment platforms. Regardless of which deployment option you select, you can easily change your deployment to another environment as needed.
